2010 Competition
Guidelines
|
These guidelines were agreed to by the clubs at the competition planning meeting held on January 31, 2010.
• All Competitions are to have as many days filled up with round matches as possible. There are to be no gaps left in the draw to allow for wet weather replays etc.
• With the exception of all grades eligible for champion of champions (i.e. Grade 10 through to 21 A in both mixed and girls, Men’s Premier League and Women’s Premier league) and Division 1 Men’s Competition games there will be no replay of washed out fixtures.
• No Matches will be moved on weekends. If a ground is closed then the fixture is either postponed or washed out.
• Saturday competitions that have potential Champion of Champion teams in them (A grade) – will play right through on Saturday’s even when Champion of Champions game are on Sundays.
• In all competitions in point 2 where washout games are not to be replayed then in the scenario where even if one match is washed out, and the other matches are played, all matches in that competition, for that round will be classed as wash outs. In this scenario each team will be awarded 3 points and the 2 goals unless a team forfeits a fixture in which case they will receive no points and no goals.
